Suited for pretreating softwoods prior to staining or as a bond coat over previously coated surfaces. Creates an ultra-smooth, buildable finish that can be easily sanded for amazing final results. From the Manufacturer SealCoat Universal Sanding Sealer is a solution of 100-Percent wax-free shellac in denatured alcohol. Formulated using a patented process, SealCoat is guaranteed to be compatible over and under all clear finishes. It's guaranteed to remain fresh and dry to a hard film for at least 3 years after the date of manufacture.
